Is wanting to kiss a guy and be really intimate emotional or physical attraction?

Well, it depends on why you want to kiss him. If you're physically attracted to him, if it's something about his appearance that arouses you, then it's physical. If you know him and the feelings have developed over time as a result of your relationship with him, then it's emotional.

Wanting to kiss a guy (or otherwise feel close with him) doesn't make you gay, it makes you human. It's OK to have strong feelings for a friend (of either gender), what makes someone gay is the exclusiveness of that (physical and emotional) attraction.

I guess in some ways it can be classed as both.

You obviously, in some way, have both a physical and emotional attraction to that one particular guy, or to guys.

But wanting to be closer to the guy physically and emotionally doesn't make you gay.
