I've been noticing a series of veins on my penis when it's erect. there's a few on top, and a big one on the bottom. I can touch any of them without feeling pain or anything. Is this normal?

Yep its normal. They are just regular veins that are on your penis.

Yes.

When you next post can you explain your answer a bit more...rather than saying yes? Thank you. ~Joe~

Completely normal. The veins are there to pump your penis full of blood and to stop it from dying.

As everyone else said, yes, it's very normal. I think the big vein you notice on the bottom of your penis is actually the urethra canal. All of the fluids that flow out of the penis go through that vessel. But there are definitely going to be blood vessels all over and in the penis to give it as much blood flow as needed to sustain an erection.

That is not an acceptable post. Please elaborate.

And you are completely normal. Some people have no visbible veins and some have like A TON! You have a healthy balance. You are fine.

There are a lot of veins and arteries in the penis, remember that erection is a vascular thing, erection is caused by an increase of blood flow, so there needs to be the pipes there to carry it! These can appear green, blue, or red, all normal.

veins are blood vessels that carry blood toward the heart. Most veins carry deoxygenated blood from the tissues back to the heart; exceptions are the pulmonary and umbilical veins, both of which carry oxygenated blood. They differ from arteries in structure and function; for example, arteries are more muscular than veins and they carry blood away from the heart. That's normal.
