Yes, this is known as your "happy trail" and it will gradually become a bit darker as you develop more (How much depends on the person). It's normal, most everyone has it.

Well, are you sure what you are seeing isn't fine hairs growing? When I first started getting mie, I thought it was the skin that was getting darker. It might not be apparent now, but it is most likely that little hairs are starting to grow along there, and that's what's making it more darkly colored.
