I took a lot of heat from some guys in the shower because I only took my shorts off after other guys came into the shower naked. They all said it was gay, but I'm not. How should I deal with this?

Anyway, i bet ur probably the same size as them so u got nothing to worry about. You are allowed your privacy and they should respect that

Being a bit shy isnt the same as being gay, but unless you're really hung up about it why not just go with the flow and shower naked like the other guys?

So ask them who's really gay here, you for showering not completely nude or them for wanting to see you naked. Or you could just go with the flow and take nude showers, it's not a big deal once you do it.

Its not bad once you get used to it. You shouldnt comment back with anything like "Why do you want to see me naked, doesnt that make you gay" Because thats just doing what they are doing and its showing them they really got to you. If its not a big deal, just shower in the nude, its much easier. If you dont feel like doing it, its your privacy and your right to be naked or not.

Sticks and stones, sticks and stones, they're probably just putting you down ecause they feel insecure and need a way to boost their ego. Just don't pay any attention to them, don't respond to them, and then they will stop eventually.

It's annoying, yes, but people are going to be jerks sometimes. If you train yourself to ignore them, you'll be better off in life because you'll be able to look past a lot of the crap that's said about people.
