I am literally on the verge of a mental break-down and I need some help. I can't stand school, my parents pressuring me to get good grades, and the faggots at my school. I try to act like I'm fine but I just can't keep it up up anymore. I have two F's in my classes and I can't work that hard waking up at 6 A.M. to go to school. I need someone to help me :'(.

Moved to Mental Crisis Forum.

First things first, breathe. Breathing correctly helps. You want to breathe so that your stomach visibly moves. Take slow breaths and hold for three every now and then.

Try to do something that relaxes you, as often as possible.

Ignore the fools who need to put someone down to feel better and ask your teachers for extra help, to make sure you understand things.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I wish you all the best. Try to take one day at a time and remember that you are an amazing person and if others can't see that then that's their own loss. I know its easier said than done, but other's opinions dont matter - no one has the right to make you feel bad.
Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it, or just want somebody to talk to.

Well, I'd think that avatar of yours would cheer you up!

I think you need to do 2 things here: First, figure out how you're failing two classes, that's pretty serious. Then, come up with a plan to fix it.

Second, share your awareness of the seriousness of your grades with your parents, they'll like that. Then, tell them in detail what you're going to do to turn it around. Then, tell them what they can do to help, what you need from them.

When the bottom seems to fall out, there's often more pressure to fix things and meet the expectations for success. Sometimes, the response adds to the stress, making it more difficult to achieve the goals you and they probably both have. If you show some awareness of the problem, as well as a good plan to fix it, it can reduce the stress, and help you get on your way.
