i am going to byron at the end of the year and it is like the drug capitol of australia pretty much. all my friends are talking about how they are gonna smoke and all of that stuff and be like real hippies for the 2 weeks that we are there for. i kinda wanna try it but only once and im worried that ill like it so much that ill become addicted and screw up my life coz thats what many people in my grade are like.

btw there is like no way i wont try weed at byron so dont say that.

What's your actual question? You say you're kinda worried but then that there is no way you won't try it.

There is a thing called 'Choice'.
Suprisingly you do have it, deep down.
You can make the choice of not doing it or doing it.

Choice 1: You live a life with chance of getting less diseases, potentially a longer life-span and the satisfaction and dignity that comes from choosing the right choice.

Choice 2: You live a life with a chance of becoming addicted which leads to you spending money on a silly plant when you could be putting it to better use. Your chances of diseases increase.

So, with the mindset you have at the moment, you're obviously going to do it despite what anyone says here, therefore your post is pointless.

Or, you could listen, smarten up and make a good choice.

Or he could choose Choice 3: Try it and like it but only become an occasional, social smoker at which point his social life could improve and there would be no risk of "addiction and wasting his life".

as we do not promote drug use, in my opinion, IF you try it, be smart and be safe. You can only become addicted to the feeling, there is no chemical worry.
