Hello,
Here's the story: About three weeks ago, my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex, but didn't finish it off because we didn't want to get her pregnant (I know, not the smartest idea, but it happened anyways). Today we did the same thing twice, except we decided to finish (Again, also not smart, but it happened and we talked about this possibility beforehand. We didn't just blindly run in.)
After the second time today, she noticed a light pink discharge. To be sure it wasn't me, I went to the bathroom, there was no sign of anything pink. So it's definitely her. Her cycle has been a bit off recently, but she's never been the most reliable in that respect. She's sometimes waited quite a few months without having one.
Anyways, back to the problem. It wouldn't be implantation bleeding from earlier today. We also wanted to be sure about the last time, and she took a pregnancy test both about a week ago, and then again a couple days ago. Both times it came back negative. So either the pregnancy tests were wrong, I let out the next Michael Phelps, or it's not pregnancy.
There are some other things to note, however:
- She's been ravenously hungry the last couple weeks (Moreso than she can ever remember being)
- She's had abdominal cramps for a few days recently, which she generally never has
- There's no pain at all associated with the discharge
- It doesn't itch or smell unusual
- There was no pain during intercourse
- It's much lighter than any period she's had. It doesn't seem to be that, although there is a possibility.
What do people here think? You probably know a lot better than I do about this sort of thing. I thought infection, but usually that's either accompanied by pain, itchiness, or a bad smell. Could it be pregnancy? If not, what else could it be? It wasn't just a small splotch: it seems to be continuing a little bit (At least over the last couple hours). Any advice would be appreciated.
