Hiya. Ok, basically, I have a good appetite, and I eat my dinner, lunch and breakfast.
For breakfast I have cereal, lunch I have something like sandwiches (tuna, salmon, turkey, bacon, cheese+salad). And for dinner it's whatever mum makes, usually fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese and on sundays a roast :D
but I don't put on any weight. I'm 18 and only weigh 7 stone 13 pounds and after a meal about 8 stone 4 pounds (sorry I dont know stone <-> pounds)
it's really annoying, especially since my mates are down the gym getting ripped and im skinny as a beanstalk.
And finally, there's a big holiday to Majorca coming up in September with 20 of us going (guys and girls) and I want to look bigger. Is it possible to become a healthy weight by then?
Thanks!!!
PS - my BMI is like 15-17 (not entirely sure so it's a rough figure)

An eating disorder is when someone (a)intentionally starves themselves, (b)a binge-purge cycle, or (c)compulsive over-eating
If you are eating properly, you do not have an eating disorder, you're just thin.
Get your height, bmi needs your height.

Chances are that you have a high metabolism. This means your body processses what you eat so fast that it doesn't have a chance to put on any muscle or fat.
And Gwyn:
"An eating disorder is a compulsion to eat, or avoid eating, that negatively affects both one's physical and mental health." Though yes, those are more common forms.

Ok thanks Vind, do you know if I can purposefully and safely slow down my metabolism?
I could eat all the junk food in the world and not put weight on. My stomach is like a furnace :( lol

hehe thanks. but that's mostly girls. guys are meant to have more beef and be bigger, right now even a fly could knock me out :( lol Hmm, well i have to say your wrong there. I would give anything for a fast metabolism. Everyone calls me a 'tank' in gym or sports, because i look like a jock, etc. But, i dont like the way i look. So, not every guy wants to be muscular, and beefy, etc. =[ Be happy that your skinny, and i suggest to try to lift weights/push ups/curls, any kind of muscular exercise, if you want to be more muscular.

Its your body, don't try to make it do things that it doesn't naturally do. If you naturally have a high high metabolism, then eat to be healthy, not to gain weight. If you are truly concerned and want a true way to gain or slow your metabolism, talk to your doctor.

well eat loads of protein and carbs
IE have a jacket potatoe with pasta on it with cheeze and hell put some beans on it too
now that puts some meat on your bones
rare steaks chicken and all meats and fish.
also lifting heavy weights puts on muscle
lifting lots of light weights just tones you up a bit
really just do a few press ups and sit ups and your sorted

o.O is that healthy?
doesn't sound like it
and by the way, rare meat has no more calories than cooked meat, it just has more bactieraia
