hey guys im new here. basically killing 2 birds /w one stone so here goes:
(FYI: im 18 yrs old, if this helps)
problem 1:
recently, i've been getting softer erections. i masturbate once everyday, it's a habit. i've masturbated once every day for as long as i can remember!!
anyway, the shaft is hard but the glans (tip bit) is softer than usual. and also i dont masturbate normally, i use my index finger, middle finger and thumb to rub where the shaft connects to the glans (foreskin is over the glans during / see problem 2!).
some say this is fluctuation in hormones, others say it's an ED. help :(
problem 2
the 2nd problem is phimosis and a short frenulum. hydrocortisone cream doesnt seem to be working but if i get cut i'll have a sensitive tip. is it worth getting cut? im scared coz you cant reverse it, once it's done, it's done! (and should i get the frenulum cut off also?)
because sometimes it feels like i've got excess skin on my penis, like an old grandad or something!! maybe getting cut will help lol.
thanks for any advice :whoops:

I don't know about problem 1.. but with problem 2... I'd say:
Get an operation where they only snip off the frenulum (no need for a full circumcision unless as a last resort, as you may not like it)
And use steroid creams subscribed by your GP to thin the skin on your foreskin, and gradually stretch. If you do this for a month, and have the op, that should be sorted...

Well I can solve problem 2 for you...I'll have to get back to you on the first one.
If your foreskin is too tight. Then there are relativley easy steps to take to solve the problem. First, every day in the shower or something, gently but firmly, pull back the foreskin as far as it will go, but don't stretch it, as there is a danger if you pull it too hard and furthur than it will go, it will tear. But don't think about that!!!
If you do this every day, eventually your foreskin will become easier to pull back and wash down there as well.
I would suggest only getting cut if:
a) the doctor recommends it
b) if you get an infection down there, or the skin is way too tight to pull back.

Ok thanks but it;s hard to know where to apply the cream. I know it sounds retarded but do I roll the foreskin back and apply the cream to the ring that way? or just keep it rolled forward and put it on the very tip
the cream came with no instructions :[
PS - Ok thanks you 2. Well the thng is I can pull it back wen im soft, but when im erect i cant pull it back. its wierd!

Answer to question 1: No worry's man! I'm assuming that you're done with puberty, so you just don't have as many hormones as you did earlier.
Q2: Don't get cut! I have had friends who have cut penises and they mostly don't like it. Another reason, it'll hurt! duh!
Just my opinions. It's really up to you, 'cuz it's your body.
Good Luck!

You put the cream on the skin covering the glans, well that's what i did and it worked.

It is harder to pull the skin back when erect. (No pun intended) It is for any guy, me included. So that's normal I believe. :D

haha. thanks for all your help btw guys!!
just in reply to ur post Requin: it is harder to pull back yeah, but mine wont actually go below the bottom of the glans, and the pain in the frenulum is quite intense. god im 18 i should be sorted by now! lol

And Donkey, thanks for your rpely. do you apply it to the skin on the inside or the outside? i feel like such an idiot asking this but my GP/Doctor is crap!

No that's pretty normal. I know me and Jon (donkey) are a few years younger to you. But if we have trouble and I'm sure others do as well, it's normal. Doing it when your soft is a much better idea. Much easier to pull back and easier to apply cream.
Side note: If the pain does get intense. STOP!!! Do not do anymore, as if it becomes intense, that's not good - as Jeremy Clarkson would say. :-)

haha yeah true. top gear rules! well, should I consider frenuloplasty in that case? as the frenulum is another major reason for considering the cut.

Yes get the Frenuloplasty, many regret full circumcisions..

Maybe. Try the other stuff first. But for that advice. Ask your GP. They'll know if it's necessary or not.

Ok thanks. Btw, just to make sure, is it normal for there to be a bigger flap of skin connecting the foreskin to the glans behind the frenulum? If you know what I mean.
