December 27th, 2005, 11:33 AM
he had all of these plans for iraq and he wants to withdraw troops from the war in a year or two...and something else that had nothing to do with anything..

December 27th, 2005, 11:36 AM
well he would not wnat ot withdraw to ealry, they need to stay there until everything is sorted.
December 27th, 2005, 11:37 AM
i think everything is getting pretty good ovr there and he should withdraw them like in a month...they have got a good government coming soon and everything will be at least okay so we need to withdraw soon in my opinion

I think they need to leave within the next 6months tops and hand it over to the UN
Its costing america ALLOT of money to do this
Like billions upon billions upon billions
ontop of that they've already given over 2000 lives to try and help these idiots that blaim america for EVERYTHING "its hot out, fuckin americans".....jesus
In allot of areas america's economy is in trouble
crime and violence is up
teen suicide
etc....
America should put Americans first
its not there job to police the planet

Well said.
But also with that said, we can't just abandon the mess we made. If we can take troops out in 6 month, then cool. But only if Iraq can protect itself from itself.

i disagree, they caused the mess why should the UN clean it up? and so wat if its costing them billions upon billions thats the price you have to pay and should not be put onto someone else, the USA have made their bed now let them lie in it.

well isnt the transition from Us powert to the iraqi govt power in good graces. Like if everything is doing well as the US says they are...then we should start to withdraw the troops....not all of them immediatly but over time

I agree with you Nick
If you leave Iraq in shambles it will just go bck to the way it was
But in 6months the iraq army should be fairly well trained, there already policing quieter areas alone without american assistance.
Now in 6months Sadam will have been tried quilty and hung
There millitary will be strong enough to police the majority of the areas
the new democratically elected goverment will be on its feet
and whats left there to do the United Nations can take care of
Our global economy is shifting with the emergence of the Asian market
The last fuckin thing we need is for sum cocky terrorists to be harassing us
So I agree with america going in
But you've done enough
You've spent BILLIONS thousands have died, your economy and YOUR american citizens have suffered with the downgrading economy, the uprise in crime, the lack of response time in natural disasters, social pressure among teens etc...
Its time for America to put Americans first
Enough of Iraq
How mush assistance did america have when it liberated itself from the English?
If they can't take over from here
then there not fighting hard enough for it and dont deserve it
----------------------------------------
Alex if Ireland has a problem with the forces withdrawing
Then Ireland can go in!!
They didnt make a "mess" they removed a dictator that slaughtered and tourtered millions
They crippled the shit out of a huge cocky terrorist organization that was terrorizing the global community, that slaughtered 3thousand innocent american citizens, that attacked London.
The United Nations is more then capable of taking care of the rest of it
Hell the UN can stay in Iraq for the next ten years
Canada plays a large role in the UN
the largest amount of forces commited to the UN from the member nations is Canada
add that to the fact that canada is commiting allot of money to revamp our military (espically if Harper wins) and I think we can handle a lil police work espically with the help of the iraqy military in 6months time.
America is like Canada's big brother
now I was FURIOUS when we didnt help them to begin with
we should have stood with them immidiatly!!
Because i KNOW that if anybody trys to invade or attack canada
america would slaughter them
Then Paul Penis Martin turned down the MDP
So we owe it to them
America isnt as bad as everyone says
There just the most powerful so if ANYTHING goes wrong we blaim them..pathedic

i didnt say Ireland has a problem with the witdrawl, and neither do i. wat i have a problem is if they withdraw too early.
i think that because the USA and UK began the war to overthrow Saadam and his regime, i believe it should be down to them to see the country get back on its feet and become stable again, at any cost.
i am aware that the UN is very capable of handling it but its a matter of principle, if you start something you should see it through to the end.

MCcoupe you shouldn't be so narrow minded, when bush has a resolution to remove hudreds of troops from iraq, that has nothing at all to do with himself. Hell, he probably doesn't even want that to be done, but he knows that it is the right thing to be done . . .
I disagree with the point you bring up Josh, they hate Americans so badly that it would just cause chaos, why would we choose to have brothers with those that so strongly dislike us? All we would be doing it giving them millions every day and leech off of us. . and us, well all we would get MAYBE (if they aren't selfish) is get some oil. But that would bring up another despute

can i just say that the UK is not at war with Iraq, Tony Blair is. The vast majority of Brits oppose the war. (I'm like Switzerland - neutral).
Tony Blair is a lil bitch and I hate him though.

You people must not get what I am saying.
The reason I named Puerto Rico is because at the moment, they are a commonwelth of the United States. Every year, or at some interval, they vote on whether they want to become a state in the USA.
And when the hell did we ever attack Puerto Rico?
