i recently read something that said people who frequently masturbate have a high risk of prostate cancer. i masturbate 1-2 times a day. does this mean that i am going to get prostate cancer? what is prostate cancer? how will i know if i have it? please answer.

with all cancer there is ways to increase the risk of getting it. However masturbation does not increase prostate cancer. The risk of getting cancer can be increased a number of ways like being passed along through family, radiation, chemicals, certain viruses, growing older (guys generally dont even worry about getting prostate exams till the age of 50...), and a poor diet with amounts of exercise. So overall you dont really have anything to worry about for along time.

There's been recent research, as some of the other respondents above have commented, that suggests that masturbation reduces the risk of prostate cancer. This is not normally something that affects younger guys, its more of a middle-aged problem. Forget it for now.
