I know I don't really know much about the circumstances, but this seems like a REALLY BAD IDEA! I know its not illegal where you live, but if it's illegal in other parts of Australia its illegal for a reason - the law is there to protect its citizens, and in this case the law is saying "for god's sake dont have sex with someone old enough to be your dad, because you will get hurt". I don't mean to sound harsh, but really don't do it, it'll only end up with you getting hurt. Think about it this way, what kind of 50yr-old wants to have sex with a 16-yr old? It's JUST sex? Really? You need to think that over. Sex isn't something that should pop up into your head when you say "I love him/her". Sex is a commitment. It's a way of showing TRUE love and not something to do whenever you please with whoever you want.

For God's sake, he's in his 50s. He's old enough to be your father. Now, I don't know any legal implications in Australia, but I would suggest that you just wait it out. It doesn't matter if you are of a legal age. Sex is the basis of showing how a person loves another and it's a very VERY strong bond.

Now, I advise that you wait and save that special moment for someone you really TRULY love. You can't rush into decisions like this. You'll just cause major problems in your life by doing this. You're just an ordinary teenager if you ask me.
