I have these spots on the shaft of my penis called fordyce's spots
(they're sebaceous glands) and pearly penile papules on the head. They kind
of look like an STD , but they are not infectious. Would that gross a girl out?
Would she believe me if I just explained things? Also I have a lot of pubic hair
around the base. Should I shave it all off?

trim it first, you can always cut off more but it takes a little while to grow back if you shave it all off. if you expect a blowjob, then i'd suggest you trim/cut it.

1. Just explain to the girl, if she still doesn't believe you find a site or something explaining it, or go to your GP.

2. Ask her if she likes it shaved down there or not.

monkeybot. i could honestly say i love you! when you said you had those things on yer penis i said "hmmm maybe those are the things that i have.." and you know what? i looked it up on google and it's exactly what i have. When i read that they go away after a while i was so happy!!!! and they're not infectious. I think we'll both be ok! :P

Who diagnosed these?

Dots and spots and texture is normal, anything else would need to be looked at and diagnosed by an MD. Has that happened?

If your penis looks significantly diff than most, and your partner is likely to notice, it's always better to tell them before they notice. That way, you have a better chance of managing her reaction and having a better outcome.

Just tell the girl beforehand. It's as simple as that, but if you want to avoid the whole telling her story, then I suggest you purchase Tretinoin gel or cream. It can help reverse the spotty things and help stop it from becoming worse.
