this is kind of an old story but some people believe they have found buddha reincarnated. A 15 year old boy has been meditating for 6 months straight without food or water in a Nepalese jungle. Anyone believe this? I'm not quite sure but I know its very possible...
hmmmm...

through meditation it is possible to slow down your brain rythms which give the signals to your other physical systems where you dont need it so much... but to do this you basically need to achive true enlightenment.

I don't believe/know if there ever was a Buddha, I am not a bhuddist and have limited knowledge of the subject. So I say no, not possible.

In indian culture there is a ritual where you go out in the deep of the woods and go meditating till you are about to die. . you are so deep in meditatio nand your body is so screwed up you start to see weird things. . . mostley animals, because that is what they are there to see. When they see their animal, they get out orf the meditation and then collapse for a few days because the lack of food and water ect ect.
All of this is done in a sweat room made with natural foliage.
Nobody can survive without any form of food or water for that long, it is just impossible. And buddah being reincarnated? Well, that was just psychology, just like seeing the animals . . it really showed up because you wanted it to
that is what i think

well I wastching this Barbara Walters special about heaven...and barbara interviewed the Dali Lama( head of the Buddhist religion) and what I found out is that....Each Dali Lama is believed to be the reincarnation of the previous Buddhas...so in actuality all of them are reincarnations of the original Buddha

Was that MEANT to be a stereotype?
Buuutt... . . i don't know why his followers wouldn't allow him to be seen at night unless he ate food .. . i mean its no big deal if he does, then he will just be another crazy person meditating in the woods

If he really IS the buddah reincarnated, you'd think he would be able to survive 6 months without food or drink, because he has reached enlightment or whatever, right?
I've study buddhism abit and might buy a zen rock garden (just cause its relaxing) but im not an expert on the subject.
