Surrounded by a crowd of people
Some alive and some not clear,
Surrounded by a crowd of people
Behind them cops in riot gear
Prepare for full-scale massacre,
But what they get is much, much worse.
Everybody turns around,
To face them and they scream aloud,
"Mercy holds and mercy falls
The merciless now hold control!"
Before they can bother to see
What is truly happening
The people with sinister smiles
Turn back around to wait awhile...
Several moments later oh,
A helicopter does appear,
Not far from where I stand
A wooden stage in front of them,
The helicopter soon explodes
A fiery mess, it plunges down...
Into the cops in riot gear
And they burn without a sound!
Silent screams and muted shouts
Escape the mouths of helpless clowns,
Once men in full riot gear,
Now they're hearse's passengers,
In the trunk they lie awake
In a dark, diagonal shape.
The people happy as can be
Shout and scream, elated, please!
Now with torches, now with guns
The people overrun the town,
The mayor forced to turn around
They blow his brains out
Now its loud.
The silent screams and muted shouts
Turn to boisterous calls (oh no),
From people who remain unsure...
What's to come
Its anarchy,
What's to come
Its make believe!
Could the people
Really do
Everything that
I've just said?
Is this real
Or is this all
Just made up shit
That's in my head.
The police in riot gear
They all lie in shallow graves...
To say that what I say's untrue
Is to disrespect their tombs.
The people still remain in charge
The ring leader is still at large
That national guard knows not how
To stop their rampage
Or their rouse,
They have full control over
Their and two surrounding towns.
The endgame is a peaceful one,
I still sing atop my stage,
My crowd is larger, invisible,
The cops in riot gear are gone,
Smashed into the ground alone,
All that remains are the shards
Of the helicopter crash,
And shards of what I would call
My very, very fucked up past.
