Sex Awareness Sticky

I had an idea. After the recent business with that 13 year old boy being a dad, and the amount of people on here talking about having sex when there 14, or 15 etc.

Okay, they might all not be telling the truth, but some kids attitudes to sex and having it is so....nonchalant?? They seem to know all the stuff about condoms and safe sex etc. Yes that's all very fine and good. But they don't seem to be aware of the facts of the consequences and the whole point of having sex.

They seem to think that sex is just 'part' of having a relationship. I just think there needs to be some sort of awareness sticky about sex, the consequences and why you shouldn't do it underage.

I expect I'll get a lot of abuse and people telling me how rubbish the idea is and how we don't need it. But I think we do.

I agree with you here actually because I know people like this that always talk about sex and getting blow jobs even though they're only 13. People nowadays don't seem to notice how emotionally insane having sex could be to them and their partner, and how dangerous it really is. People are so eager to have sex young most people regret it when they're older.

It's outrageous, how many kids are taking it lightly.

It is something to value, not take lightly.
They will regret it when they are older, so i think it's a good idea.

too many people are talking about having sex and there unaware of the consequences and purpose

There are way too many teens getting pregnant when they are still in school and the unfair part is that the child is the one who suffers.

I agree with this as well! There should be a sex awareness sticky! Ive walked past group of 13 year olds before and all I heard was "I was soo drunk friday night, I totally slept with that guy" (Language cleaned up for the sake of this forum)
So I vote yes, something needs to be said.

I vote yes too. There are way too many kids having sex and not being old enough or mature enough to cope with the consequences. They don't even think of the conseqences. Anything that might make them slow down and think before doing anything would be helpful.

i do think this is a good idea, collaborate with the other p101 mods and get something together. you guys have the power to make a sticky :) the only problem is there are already a lot of sticky's in general questions polls and surveys.
