I know how you feel. Girls can be very intimidating. However, once you actually ask them, they're not so bad. Even if you don't think she'll say yes, you should ask her anyway. It'll show her that you're man enough to come over and ask. She might be so impressed that she'll say yes!

Good luck! ;)

flobble is right here but also, through my experience which is a lot, girls do not care much if your so called "hot" or "cute". The real fun in dancing is just dancing! No matter who you're dancing with! Besides, the lights will be darkened and there will only be like strobe lights and color flashing lights. Just go for it! You have about a 60-80% chance of being said yes to, depending on the girl.

No I meant like there should be no reason to turn you down if you're worried that they might do so. I'm not calling you ugly I'm saying this because some of my friends do this and I just say "go for it! If anything happens that bad or embarrising it won't matter, because people wont reckonize you".

The weak leg syndrome strikes again! To boost your confidence, I find that talking to girls you know well and are your friends helps a lot, because then it makes the girl(s) you wanna dance with seem less intimidating. The wobbly knees and butterflies go away mostly after your first or second dance, you just have to conquer your fears. And don't worry about her friends, they don't care really. They probably won't even notice.

ok... thats the problem none of my friends are girls. also her freinds do care. they say hay look its <my name>. they do this because she used to like me in the 6st grade. when she is around and her friends do this it looks like she is holding back a smile and she dousent look at me.
