I never bumped this thread:
http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2403

So why did that moderator accuse me of bumping it when I found it on the FRONT PAGE of that forum?

Also, his comment about it belonging on the drugs page. Ritalin is a medication used for ADHD, so how is it in an inappropriate area?

Is what he is saying that we need to post a new topic even though one already exists on the front page?

First of all, it is best to contact the moderator that did the action you disagree with via PM, instead of posting it.

Second, it should have been locked when it was bumped in November of 2008. That was a 3 year bump. You bumped it after 4 months, which is when threads are generally locked if they are bumped.

Third, it would be relevant in either section. It is about a medication, thus it should go under the Drugs and Meds section. It is also about ADD/ADHD, thus making it's current placement relevant.

So, in conclusion, you did bump that thread, whether it was on the first page or not. It was on the first page because that is a rather inactive section of the forum. It also could fit in either of the fore-mentioned sections of the forum.

Ok so from now on if I find something on the front page on that forum which is two months old, I should post a new thread with the same title etc, and then end up with double postings?

November was 4 months ago, and that was a THREE YEAR bump. You can make a thread that is the same if you want.

Dependent on your ADD Meds? (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=37923)

Dependent on your ADD Meds? (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21840)

It is you guys paying the bill, you do realize making a new thread adds more space than simply replying?

I am all for rules, but respect common sense more.

As slow as the ADD/ADHD forum is you should have been allowed to bump it. Justin you are right here but next time send me a PM if you have a problem with a moderator. Thanls.
