i dont know if im a schizo or not. like lately ive been hearing music when noone else could hear it. and sometimes i cant distinguish dreams from reality. but i dont hear voices so im probably just screwed up not schizophranic.

When someone is delusional and hallucinating - they are sure it's from an external source (like a speaker planted in your head by CIA agents) rather than identifiying it as an unreal experinance from within yourself like (im hearing things which aren't real)

Psychosis can be wonderful or a real pain in the ass depending on what it is.

I have this friend at programs that is schizo like me which helps alot.

What kinds of things do you experience when you go psychosis?

hi josh
its definatly a pain in the ass. i hear voices. they call out my name again and again and again. i hear people i know talking to eachother when they arent there.
i see stuff like people and faces in my room that aparently arent there but they are to me. spiders crawling up the walls.
i try to jump out of windows and do stupid stuff coz i dont think the world exists so it doesnt matter.
i get really paranoid too.

As long as I'm on my meds mostly I do ok. But if I skip I have real problems. Then I hear people and see things like people. It so real I can't tell its cause I'm schizo. It just happens and I can't control it.

Mostly my mom and doctor have to tell what happened. I keep a list of things I've really done and things that aren't real. I check my list and it helps me figure out whats happening.

i dont take meds. the doctors wanted to try every differenttype of tyherapy beforehand e.g. psychotherapy, cognitive behgavoral therapy, art therapy etc.
it didnt work so ive pretty much wasted a year in hospital.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it's kinda when something "traumatic" happens and the person keeps reliving it, there's alot of nightmares and memories that kind of overtakes the person.

I took extream counciling when I went to public schools. In fact a Schizo Dr. was my Dr. I knew he was, but took no relevence to it. He always asked If I thought because My dad is shizo am i afraied I might develop. I say no, but somtimes I wonder. I have a group of friends that come over every day, they say they skip, and we just chill in my living room. My brother knows that they come, but Hes never meet them. which is wierd cuz I swore he had met them. But anywho, just yesterday, they came over, and I asked them If they wanted anything to drink, and I made them some juice and then when i went back into the living room, there were only 3 of them, but I swore that their were six, and I made six glasses. And then When They left, later on that day, their were only three glasses in the sink, and I'm kinda freaking out like are these friends real or what. I'm a little scared, but I think that they are.

Its ok. If you can tell you are seeing things then you promble aren't schizco. I can't tell the difference so when I see things its real to me. My mom and doctor help me understand whats going by telling me whats real and things that aren't real. I have a list that helps me too. The list has things that are real and things that aren't real on it. I check my list often and it helps some.
