I don't believe this is in the rules yet, but I believe it would be a great addition if works must be cited.

Basically, this would mean that any article that has been copied from another place should have a cited source.

Of course, all cases cannot be caught, but when it's obvious that the member was not the original author, well then it's easily caught.

It's a shame when a long/quality article is duplicated without credit.

Mmm me likes. It always irritates me when people post giant pages of obviously copy/pasted information and then get a bunch of pats on the back about what a great job they did

Do you have to make it a URL because t is difficult to remember sites due to the lack of the copy and paste feature on the ipod touch

I tried to start a movement about posting the link in the Daily Chronicle, but it failed...

I am all for it!

Well the chronicle actually has a "rule" for that...at least it should...definately not entirely enforced with the strictest rules but yea,
I like the idea.

Well then copying and pasting really should not be an issue for people on the iPod Touch.

I hate seeing people copy/paste and pretend it's theirs. Especially when it's obvious they haven't even read it.

I'm all for making it a guideline and asking the person to include a source if they don't provide one.

It's a good habit to get into as well. If you go to college and don't reference, expect the full force of the college authorities come down on you.

I like.
