But i'm sharing with a lad just me and him, i dont know much about him because we dont hang out becuase he lives too far away for me to hang with him properly, now i dunno if it would be wise to masterbate while there, i mean they are all en-suites so i could masterbate while in the shower but i dont always like masterbating in the shower and i like to do it in bed. but i am not sure if he masterbates aswell :|

If you're going to stay busy, you should be able to go a week without masturbating easily. If you REALLY must, just do it in the bathroom or the shower, but it shouldn't be that hard to go without it. The other kid quite likely masturbates too, but there's no need for you to find out, since it's supposed to be a private thing.

You can just do it in the shower and when everyone else is asleep or talk to the guy dosent sound like you have other options.

I think a week is a long time to change certain basic habits and needs, so I can understand your concern here. Remember a couple of things; First, everyone masturbates, so we should assume he will, too, and be accepting of you doing it, if you're discreet.

The other thing is that eventhough you guys will share a room, there will undoubtly be opportunities to be alone. He'll need to use the bathroom, you'll be able to go up to the room while he's doing something somewhere else, etc.

Most guys who have been away and had roommates seem to work it out just fine, I think you'll be able to, as well.
