Well um you see I have the winter flu I have many symptoms such as sore throat, weakness, acheness, and I'm very congested. The problems is that since my sinuses are congested (stuffed up) my ears are backed up with flluid. That feel as if you have water in them. My mom, a retired RN, is saying that my ear drains into my throat and since my throat is all gunked up with mucus the ear fluid is backed up causing the pressure.
Is this true?
If not, is there an explaination for my ears becoming pressurized?
If so, is there a remedie to this problem?
