i got Battlefield 2 for xmas and its installed

then i installed my moms ipod shuffles using the cd that came with it

i put the BF2 disc back in so i can play, and it ses the exact same thing on it as the ipod cd? wtf

even if i run a virus scan, refresh, etc it still wont see the BF2 cd

Unplug your computer and check the IDE cable on the drive. It might be loose, so the drive might not detect when the disc has been changed. Otherwise, try checking the shunts to make sure they didn't come off. Boot your computer back up and see if it recognizes the new CD.

i restarted without touching anything at all and it recognizes it now

strange how it wasnt working earlier

(my case is pure plastic :P i can see if something is loose)

Well yes, but just because something looks tight doesn't mean that it has to be... Also, I had a hunch about just restarting you computer, but it's always better to be on the safe side. :P
