AHHHH Gym Class!!

I'm gay, and next year in high school I'm pretty sure we have to shower. Since I'm gay, I'll probably get a boner when we all get naked. Does anyone have any advice for how to not get a boner or how to hide it? And If you had to shower in gym class and someone got a boner would you make fun of them? And why?

I never had to tke a shower in gym class. Just be careful where you look and what you think about. That's happened to me once but it was hidden because I had pants on. Hope it helps

There's always going to be the one class clown who might decide to laugh at it, but the fact is that it can happen to anyone--even straight guys. You can chalk it up to nervousness, I suppose. You probably won't be the only one to have that problem at least once during the whole semester. Even if someone laughs, the joke is gonna get old pretty fast and everyone will go along their merry way.

And hey, just because you're gay doesn't mean you'll be attracted to every guy you see, right? This might not be as bad as you're anticipating. Just remember that this is in no way sexual and no one else wants to be in there either.

It's really not as big of a deal as it may seem. I was worried about the same thing, but it's more easy to avoid than you would think. Just don't pay attention to it, focus on showering and getting out. Even if something does happen it wouldn't be that big of a deal, just try not to make it a frequent occurrence.

Ahh good old gym. This situation happened to a guy in our class and got called woody for like half a year. Some advice I would give and that I have used since im Bi and showers were always a place of temptation :P. Think about your next class, focus on the task you are doing (Wash arm, washing arm, next arm, wash). Just dont think about anything sexual and dont look at anyones junk :P.

Lucy in the sky's got it right, it can happen to anyone. Some guys might make a joke of it like "look guys, xxxxx has got a boner", but doesn't mean they think its gay or anything. Even if it sounds like teasing, and its embarassing, its almost like they're proud on your behalf, cause its good to get hard ons.

Seeing the guys in the showers doesn't get me horny because its just an ordinary everyday sort of thing. Same in the changing rooms at the pools. Its just not a sexual situation. Does sometimes give you something to think about later on when your on your own though!

If people are worried that they are going to get laughed at, they are a lot less likely to get a boner. If it really worries you that much speak to your teacher (but that may be worse;):P)

Well welcome to the club. You can do one of 4 things

1 come out before high school and put up with the gay haters and they will not put you in the showers

2 try to hide it and fail and try to stop it and fail

3 put up with what they say and enjoy the sight

4 dread it everyday and care what they say and have a really bad time

Pick number 3 when I end up like this I always do that it is great. And when people pick on you it means they wan t to be friends with you they like you it is simple.

Phish i don't necessarily think it means they like you...but okay. Just concentrate on jumping in and jumping out of the shower. you don't even need to shower per se, just run in there, get your hair wet, and run out. And i'm guessing that once you get in that situation you won't get a boner, i thought i would as well but it never happened. Just relax.

Ok, no one can make you take a shower!!! In my high school, no one even takes a shower. If the P.E. teacher says you're free to take showers, and if there's time, then yes some might. But don't even think about it. Dn't even think about avoiding one! Just mind your own business. And like I said, no one can make you! It's kind of illegal. And you can take showers at any year, but like I said none at myschool take showers. Not enough time. Not enough showers.
