So there's this girl...

There's this girl that I like. I'm not 100% sure if she likes me back, but I'm pretty sure she does. The problem is that her parents just got a divorce and she's got a lot on her mind. I really don't want to confuse her even more than she already is. I really want to ask her out but i don't know if its a good idea or not. What should I do?:confused:

Get to know her! Talk to her, see if she needs someone to talk to about the divorce or whatever else she has going on. Once she starts feeling better, she will remember that you were there to help her.

Once she's back to feeling better about everything then think about dating her. Don't worry about it yet.

Does she already have a date?

If you two talk a lot, and she doesn't already have a date then I would say go for it.

We talk anytime I see her, and she doesn't have a date. But that raises another question...How?

Do you sit together at lunch or something? Or just any time you are talking to her, just say something like "Hey, *name* I was wondering if you would like to go to prom with me?"

No, she's in a different lunch. (our school splits them into 2 [kinda sux)
But her locker isn't far from mine and we have a class together.

But, I guess there really isn't much else one can do, is there?

Well, just walk with her to a class or something, ask her then. Or after school walking out. Any time you get a few minutes to talk.

I was going to ask her today and then the power went out at school!
How does that happen?

So we were let out early and I wasn't able to ask her.
Perhaps tomorrow will bring better luck. =D
