So i quit smoking almost 3 weeks ago because i thought i was having an allergic reaction to it...((which i didnt rele get becuz i was doing it for around 5 yrs on and offish)) so once i relized i actually had mono i decided to still quit, but now as the days go by and my anxiety gets worse i really just want to smoke again but i know i'll just get addicted again. But my anxiety is really bad and maybe that will help. So now i'm wondering if i should just smoke till i get on some anxiety medication or something. But i just hate the cravings now..

Smoking is a seperate issue from the anxiety. If you start smoking again, you'll get hooked. Don't do it. You'll be adding another problem.
If you've been without nicotine for 3 weeks, it's pretty much cleared your body, so the cravings are perhaps more the result of that underlying anxiety you speak of. Try to address that, come up with a way to distract yourself, exercise helps a lot, or whatever works for you. If you;re going on meds anyway, this would be a temp plan to get you to that point. You can tolerate this!!

Yeah, it will do you no good. All people who quit smoking and drugs crave it, every day they do. Just resist it, don't let it take control of you. You can resist the cravings. Actually, by what you've said it sounds like you quit all by yourself. I'm impressed...not too many people can do that. I'm posative you can resist the cravings.

when the cravings get too intense i recommend you go run or do something physical.. its relieving and it will keep you from smoking again.
