Well for me I would say sledding i hit a tree 2 black eyes and lost 3 teeth they where all loose baby teeth but still it is nice story. And when I was out sharking and I was trying to gaff my friends shark (stick a big hook in it on a rope) and I got tangled in the 300 pound line witch is as thin as thread cut me to shreds it cut straight threw my gloves. And lastly I was out sharking and I pulled up a little one 4 maybe 5 feet and when I was picking it up to let it go it took a chunk out of my led the size of a small fist.
I would have to pick from those.

Wow.. they sound nasty.
Mine would be between.. 1) Was wearing stupid shoes, fell over, Broke my tooth. 2) Tripped over the hairdryer and Fractured my little finger.
They are the 2 worse accidents.

i've dislocated my sholder.. twice (same one)
and twisted my ankle badly enough that i couldn't put weight on it (that's pretty bad, because i'm always tripping and doing something stupid :P)
Somehow, i haven't broken anything.... Don't ask how this is humanly possiable, but yeah :P

Probably breaking my arm (the first time). I was rollerblading and suddenly my feet weren't under me any more. I stuck my arms out, but my right hand hit the ground before my left, and so for a split-second all of my weight fell on that wrist. I fractured it in 3 places. One simple fracture (cracks straight through the bone without really displacing anything or injuring much of the soft tissue), one hairline fracture, and one which I believe was a compression fracture. I can't recall the word that the doctor used, but I remember the x-ray resembled a crushed soda can. Fortunately, everything was still aligned and I just had a plaster cast for a week or so before an orthopedic decided I'd be fine with a brace for the next 6 or 8 weeks since the fractures were all in the lower portion of my forearm.
Other than that.... most of my injuries haven't been too bad.

Last year I accidentally cut off the tip of my left middle finger with scissors.
9 stitches in one of the most sensitive spots on ones body = Pain
Mhmm. The stitches hurt 200x worse than the cut.

INFERNO
February 14th, 2009, 05:47 PM
I tore the muscles all along one side of my neck and damaged the bones in there from a cross-country skiing trip with my parents. We were going down this gentle slope and there was a decent sized hole so I went around it to avoid it. In doing so, I went over ice, lost my balance and fell back, landing slightly off center on my head. I know I damaged the bones as before I couldn't crack my neck, now I can, and a bit down the top of the spine.
Broke 3-4 ribs on a stupid snowboarding run. I tried to go off a jump for the first time (of course, take the hardest and biggest slope in that area), and didn't take off properly so I didn't go straight ahead, I went diagonal. In the air I tried doing a quick fast flip, which I did manage but lost my coordination and landed on my ribs on the jump diagonal from the one I went off from.
Screwed up the ligaments or some bones in my wrist. I was using a punching bag and talking to someone. I decided to give 1 last hard punch before leaving and still babbling. End result was not properly tightening the wrist and it snapped to the side. Happily, it also was the same wrist I write with so writing for a while (i.e. notes in university) took it several months to heal.
Had a dare which I probably shouldn't have gone through but I did anyways. The dare was take a handheld cheese grater and see how much I can grate my hand on before the pain becomes unbearable. After a nice amount of blood I gave out.
Staying hours in the sun during 40C + weather without suntan lotion. I wanted to get a tan but fell asleep on the beach. I had an umbrella so not all of my skin was burnt but I was mostly red as a lobster. I covered myself up after a while (bit too late, already red) but the left shoulder was uncovered. End result, the sunburn resulted in enough skin peeling so it was bleeding a bit and took a while to heal with a big mark visible. Not the brightest move on my part.
Also broke some other bones, other injuries but I cant be bothered to type the rest out.

You ready for this?
I was BMX biking and the handlebars on my bike had been severed, so there was a circle of rusty metal sticking out the side, and I hit a jump. My handlebars twisted, I landed on them, the end of the handlebar pierced 3/4 of an inch into my chest, and almost hit my heart. My brain kinda blocked off the recovery part, but I only remember it was BAD. Almost died at age 11, have a wicked scar though!!! I might upload it...

Ok well I had something happen last night. I was on a fishing pier. Somebody using braided line which is the strongest thing in the world (what they make bullet proof vests out of) And so it is VARY thin and will cut you. So he caught a little shark '4 feet around 50 pounds and we did not want to bother gaffing it (sticking a big hook in it on a rope) so I got a rag and put it over my gloves and raped the line around my hand and tryed pulling it up and I cut right threw the gloves and towel and cut my hand to shreds again.

Hmm I cant decide between: a) Putting my head through a glass coffee table and getting stiches and being in the hospital for 3 days. (And I really liked that coffee Table) Or b) Fourwheeling and hitting a tree stump being all cool thinking I could drive on two wheels and ended up rolling it onto myself and surprisingly not breaking anything but the pain of that 700Lb Arctic cat on me... pfft..

I have had two sports related injuries.
The first one was when I was 13 I broke my leg and had to have surgery to put a stainless steel plate and six screws on my fibula. I had to learn how to walk again it really sucked.
My second injury was December of 07 when I detached my bicep tendon from my shoulder and tore my labrum in my shoulder. I had surgery on March 17th of last year. I had six months of physical therapy three days a week and I still have pain in my shoulder. I can do stuff with shoulder but the pain is always there even if I do something simple as push-ups.
Well that is my painful story. :P

I was 11 years old at the time of my incident. I was running around the house as you usually do when I tripped on my borthers lego cart and plunged straight through the sliding door onto a glass cofee table. I recieved 52 stiches to the leg and around 30 in both arms. The table fractured 3 ribs and half the muscle of my leg was hanging off. But the worse bit was when I snapped my Fermur in half as i landed awkwardly on the table. Its taken me 4 years to recover my right leg is still wasted.

Got thrown off a bucking horse, landed on my right side, broke my collar bone in two places, dislocated my shoulder, epic huge cut (don't remember getting it, but I somehow did) that took 18 stitches.
And then they gave me morphine the ambulance, had an anaphylactic (sp) reaction and almost died.

Between:
1)Tried doing a kickflip on my board, failed, and broke my ankle.
2)Falling down one flight of stairs, getting up with a fractured ankle and not noticing. Then falling down the next flight of stairs, breaking both ankles.

I don't really have any spectacular accidents/injuries.
1) I wiped out on a 50cc dirtbike twice...didn't really do much, but the first time I was on a gravel road and scraped up my leg pretty bad.
2) Got a bruised sternum in football practice. It hurt really bad when it happened, but my breathing was pretty much back to normal the next day.
3) Got a football cleat to my leg. It cut out a rather large chunk of skin. The biggest guy on the football team stepped on my leg during a lineman drill.

Sitting on a stool at a school dance. Donovan decides to be funny and pull it as when I'm going to sit back down after getting up. I notice, and avoid falling. Five minutes later, I get up, and I sat down on the edge of the stool, just barely sitting on it. Aaron goes to walk away, his foot catches the leg of the stool, I go down, landing hard on my tailbone. After landing on my tailbone, I also fell backwards and cracked my head off the cement floor. Luckily my tailbone was just bruised and not broken.
Catching during a softball game. Hanna was pitching, and she's pretty fast. Pitches an almost perfect pitch, but I didn't catch it. Hits me in the throat, right where my....voice box? is. I couldn't like....talk for a few seconds. It hurt so bad, but apparently for a few minutes afterward I sounded like a frog when I talked.
My friend has this awesome swing in the woods near his house. He has a party, we head up there. The guy who went before me decided to be funny, tied his shoes together, and threw them over the branch of a nearby tree. Well, he couldn't get them down after. He is quite short, so they sent me, the tallest one that was up there (who wasn't scared of going on the swing) to try and reach them. I could almost reach them, I just needed a little extra few inches or so. So, my friend decides to throw a stick to help me. He made a terrible throw and instead of going into my hand, it cut open the back of my leg kind of bad. Not stitches bad, but bloody mess bad. When I could finally get off, I stepped onto the rock where you get on and off, and slipped, sliding down the hill that is covered in sharp rocks and sticks. Ouch.

When i was three, put my arm through a window, cutting it horribly when taking it out. Then they put in stiches i was allergic to, meaning they had to take stiches OUT of my cut; to put other ones in. It took alot of stiches, as far as i can see i have about 40 of them, one scars all red and sticks out, one has white stiches, and two holes in it, one that pusses because of the stiching/glass still in the cut. Nice, eh?

I've never had any injuries, but I have accidenally slammed every finger and toe I have into something, be it a door or the ground.
I've slammed car doors on my fingers, stubbed my toe, sandwiched my finger between a skateboard (one that flips up QUICKLY) and a table, and, this is my favorite, dropped a 30 pound weight on my pinky. For a while, my nails looked fucked up because of this.

I tripped and fell off the curb walking home from school, i didn't hit the deck and recovered.
But before i could step back onto the pavement, a car hit my side. I can't remember how many bones i broke but i know i smashed my head open.
Another time i was speeding around on my bike and i went around a corner where some women was driving towards it fast. I hit the side window and chipped my tooth (along with the window). She tried to sue me.
