Does anyone watch it?
It's on Channel 4 on Tuesday. I think.
I think it's really good :]
It's basically about 10 girls and 10 boys aged 8-11 years old who live in seperate places, with no parental supervision. And it's to see how these kids cope without their parents like house rules, cooking, cleaning, shopping, getting on with each other etc.
Lol :P

Hmm, I really should start watching it.
Seems a interesting idea, I could see it going horribly wrong, I guess the camera dudes could step if they start doing nasty things :P

Of course things will go 'wrong' or a bit disgusting. As there pre-teens who are a bit excited with the idea of shhhh 'girls'. (giggle)
I think it's a bad idea disgusied as an interesting experiment. And it is. But as with all tv, it's fake.

They had a show like that here before called Kid Nation. They took the kids out to some ghost town in the middle of nowhere, but the range was bigger (like age 7-15). It seemed to just get twisted into another reality show with making the kids do competitions to win things for their team and stuff.

I agree with Autumn. Just something bad waiting to happen.
They actually have a show here that's called Solitary. It's where these people are confined in this octagon. It's really strange.

I watched it last night. It wasn't too bad. Would have been way better with older people though (13-18's). Those young kids annoyed me (especially the jerk in the glasses who didn't stop complaining).

Bad idea. Older kids would be wrong. Hormone city!!!
Lots of hormonal homoerotic teenagers living together...that is a recipe for disaster.

Exactly. Kids having sex on TV?? They'd sign their life away just for tv?
And the parents? What about them?
That would be a bad idea. I hate watching that programme. They all make me sick.

Trust you to say that!

TJ annoys me, getting the rest of the group to gang up on Adetero (or w/e his name was) and calling him a "murderer" for waving a cutlery knife in his direction (bare in mind the knife was no where near touching him!) and the fat Tyreesha girl is complete brat :|
But anyways I find that when extremely bad stuff happens in the show, that's the most interesting part. You wouldn't watch a TV show that was just a bunch of normal people in a house being civil with each other, you're waiting for something drastic to happen.

If you have MTV there, watch The Real World. Filled with fights, sex and drinking. Basically the same as this show, except they are older. Ages 18 or so to around.....24? Something around there. People are having sex all over. Hot tub, guest bedrooms. I'm gonna go on that show one day! :P Loads and loads of sex! xD

I think it's crap just a program following how children spend their time with others it's obvious whats going to happen. I found it funny the other week tho when they recieved the money, these kids have no idea on how to spend money! The also have no idea how to run a "kingdom" thats actually a bunch of houses.

The idea of the program is to see how childrens behaviour will be affected when boundaries are taken away, and how they interact with eachother when left by themselves.
Its supposed to be a sociology experiment but at college we think its a psychology experiment to see how quickly the childrens perception of rationality changes. We think it can take 2 directions. 1) they learn they need boundaries and they bring their children up correctly. 2) the love life without boundaries so they rebel, bringing their children up without them and completely screwing them and their kids up.
Its good tely though lol
