this is the first poem i wrote, although i am continually changing it, im very proud of it :) so here it is, btw the name means 'in a world of hurt'

Raising her gaze from the floor,
She dares to look up and see more.

A sea of white masks with a black stripe,
The cold room filled with crys of fright.

Silenced wimpers and the darkness gripping tight,
She shrinks back to the shadows hating the night.

Rough hands slide over her pale skin,
A worthless child only for sin.

To teach her better to make her right,
They broke her down and filled her with fright.

No sign of promice no ray of hope,
All her efforts just to cope.

She should have stood she should have faught,
But lost in a shattered mind she wonders alone and distraught.

Those evil men lead her to their dark den,
Enslave her body for the whims of sick men.

They twisted her thoughts till black was white,
Destroyed her mind so she would not fight.

Her broken mind had only one chance,
To stay together it chose to devide.

Now there are many when there should only be one,
But this way is safer while we try to run.
