If you've never used Picnik (http://www.picnik.com), I highly suggest you go play with it. It's a great way to waste a couple of hours :P Anywho, it's the latest fad going around and way easy to use so I figured hey, why not.

Me and my friend Bobby from Bucs at our banquet last November. He's my colorguard mama. Looooooove him!

Me and the rest of my 3rd trumpets from Bucs last year. I can't remember how it came about but Laura [3rd from the left, first time marching in like twenty years] started saying "Eye of the tiger!" to us and it became our motto. We were some effing hardcorps 3rds. YEAHHH!!!

My colorguard giiiirls. For those who don't know I played 1st trumpet for my first 3 years of marching band but senior year I decided to do guard. Lol the end of the second tune sounded like the 'cha cha cha' from the Charmin toilet paper commercials so we would always say "Charmin!" at the end of the song. We also got together for a guard huddle before every single performance for some last minute reminders and motivation and such and we always ended them by putting our hands together and saying, "Cha cha cha, Char-min!" Ohh good times. Looove them.

My friend Donna's birthday was last week and I couldn't figure out what to get her. Well I should say, I couldn't figure out what to make her, because she always prefers things we make. Now, Amanda was the first one to use the Picnik idea but I expanded on it by a) writing that little couplet and b) printing it out and making a kickass metallic holder for it that I spraypainted silver [my left hand was silver in a couple of places for a few days b/c I stupidly didn't wear gloves]. This picture is one that I took over the summer when the 4 of us [me, her, Amanda, and Maddy] spent the day together. This is in her backyard and it's one of her absolute favorite pictures of herself. Lol she said she wishes I was the one doing her senior portraits. It was really irritating though b/c my computer kept spazzing so I had to redo it THREE FREAKING TIMES. GOD.

Maddy and me again. This one I just made this morning. You know, friendship is a funny thing. People with several close friends, like my foursome, say that they don't have best friends or they have many best friends because they don't want to hurt other people's feelings but everyone knows it's not true. Donna's best friend is Brittany, and Amanda's best friend is Michelle. Maddy is my best friend and I'm fairly certain I'm hers. I love her more than I would ever be able to even begin to tell anyone. And it's not like either of us is perfect- we both irritate the other sometimes and there have been times when I've wanted nothing more than for her to just shut the hell up, but what really makes our relationship amazing is that we can get through all of that and still know that the other will always be there with a shoulder to lean on.
And that's my Picnik adventure thus far.
