Honestly..chocolate is good. :-)
Hmm, the traditional thing is flowers.
But she is your girlfriend, you know her best, so what do you think she would like???
I don't think you need to spend lots on her, but nothing cheap and tacky. Just a nice rose and some chocolates??
But as I said, you should know her, you decide what she would like.

As i said in a similar thread, i personally like to give jewelry. It's got a nice "wow" factor. But if the wallet will not allow that, get nice flowers and chocolate. What the hell, throw in a card as well :-)

ask.
her.
Seriouslly, everyone's different.
Me, personally, i'm a sucker for fluffy stuffed animals.
Not everyone is. Most of my friends think i'm crazy for collecting them
Just ask her. methinks most people would appreciate it more if you showed that you wanted to get something right :)

If my (non-existant) bf gave me a stuffed animal, I think I would love him forever!!!! :)
So yeah, you can't go wrong with stuffed animals (and a pet rock O__o).

her expectations x your feelings = the gift.
It's the thought that counts, not the *thing* or the amount of money spent. Remember, Valentine's Day is about love, not toys.

If you wanted to get her something nice try just a simple necklace or bracelet? Or even earrings. And yeah about the teddybear; you could even put the bracelet/necklace/earrings on the bear if you decided to do that. <3 stuffed animals

I say don't get her a THING, rather plan to go for a nice walk and make snacks for you both or make her a really sweet card....trust me hun that will go a lot further than some chocolates or a teddy bear!!

I agree. My gf likes earings so thats what I get her, but everyone is different. Asking her is NOT against the rules. In fact, she'll probably be charmed that you asked her
