ok, well recently i've sort of been having a hard time. i was officially diagnosed with clinical depression and i'm being treated for self-mutilation. thing is i really like this guy... we went with each other to homecoming then we sort of became friends. he sort of insinuated he liked me, but i duno. i sort of just gave up on the whole thing because even talking to people is to stressful. all my friends assure me that he likes me, but i just don't think it would be fair to push someone to deal with me... do you think i'm being unreasonable?

Well, it depends on what you mean by 'dealing with you'. What are your expectations in a relationship? If it's something normal, a friend, a companion, then it might be another way that you can see yourself as Ok and get your needs met in an OK way.
If, on the other hand, you become overly dependent on him and see him as your savior, then this might not be the time for you to be in a relationship.
Relationships enhance us, they do not make us.

I'd say just focus on your depression right now and if he's still attracted to you while you get better then hey, more power to ya. If not, well he was just going to be a distraction. I too am depressed and I can't even imagine trying to think about getting a guy, I just dont have the energy for it.
