My best friend is moving away to California. They were like my bestest friend i ever had. And there just leaving... forever.How do i deal with this?

That's a tough one, i'm really sorry. How to deal with it? Well, loss is hard, everyone deals with it differently. You might be really sad and mopey, you might cry, etc. What helps is to get contact info and make sure you guys plan on touching base frwquently via IM, e mail, txt, phone, etc. It's not the same as hanging out, but the closeness you're afraid if losing is an emotional state, not a geographic one, so staying in touch can minimize that loss.

Im really sorry to hear that you must be devastated! The best thing you could do is to stay in close contact with them by email, im and texting and to start hanging around with your other friends more often..... You prob will feel pretty bad for a while but things will pick up after a while so chin up! PM me if you want to talk.

well i just had this a while ago my friend left on January but he didn't tell anyone but later he cam back to tell everyone that he left but you friend told you, you should make the last days fun for you and your friend and how you should react well like sam said everyone is different i excepted it after a while but you won't ever forget the friendship you had :D

Oh, I sorry... Really sad news... You can't change your friend's decision, so try not to be so upset... I don't know what would I do if I were you, but for sure I would try to keep in touch with my friend! Your relationships is worth following up!

write letters. exchange pictures. make phonecalls. plan visits. its hard i know but possible

the only thing you can do is stay in touch with your best friend..you guys will see each other though

definately keep in touch and maybe start saving money so you can see her soon. I love getting and writing letters, so maybe try that.
