Puberty and masturbating

Hey im new to the forums and i have come here for one question only. I am 13 and have been masturbating for about a year now. I have just started puberty and i just wAnted to know if masturbating before puberty affects puberty at all beacuse it seems like all my friends have already gone through puberty and i just barely started it.

Masturbation is an effect of puberty. When you begin masturbating, that generally means your about or have started puberty. It's hormones that urge your body to do it. This isn't always the case, which means masturbation is sometimes "accidentally" found.

Masturbation has no effect on when puberty will start or end. It basically has no effect on puberty AT ALL.

nick alot of people mastrubate before puberty now ejaculation is a sign of that and no it wont afect you.

It can be quite common (and is not medically discouraged) for very young children to masturbate (for the pleasure, not realising the sexual aspect to it). So if the doctors are OK with it, I would say that you starting masturbating 1 year b4 puberty won't affect it. Also, many people start puberty without knowing.
