View Full Version : Cleavage.. Offensive?

So i've noticed that girls, and some boys get really offended if someone shows too much cleavage.
I for example have it exposed pretty much 24/7, i'm comfortable with it and i know who i am and don't see a reason to hide what i have.
but i don't understand why people get so edgy about it.
it's just another part of the human body and i just see people making a huge deal out of it.
also brah straps, they fuss about it being visible. It's just another part of clothing.

In my opinion, a little bit is alright, but too much, and I'm sorry if people find this offensive, this is just my personal opinion, too much makes a girl/woman look slutty.

Totally agree with Jared on this one, by all means have a cleavage but just dont make it too extreme.

The thing I see here is, I personally really don't mind, BUT, showing a lot is pretty much going to cause guys to stare. So yeah, you can do whatever, just be prepared for guys to look downwards if you have a ton exposed.

Cleavage=breasts=sexual.
You get sexual in public, basically to strangers, and some will find it offensive.

mmm... unless sumone is pervy theres no reason but stay in with the crowds and hide up when you can, dont let it be uncomforatable jut not too revealing.

I don't really care. If girls want to show it off then fine, it's not going to offend me. But there is a limit, you go past it then it just looks slutty.

I don't find cleavage offensive, but it's usually distracting and unprofessional. When having a job, I'm positive more than a little cleavage would get you in trouble.

I mean, some is inevitable. I don't have a problem with SOME showing. If it gets to a point that you might as well just have your shirt off, then do something about it. Or if you are pulling your shirt down to show it off, that bothers me.

I'd never get offended by such a thing, and I think people who do get offended are stupid. Come on, think about it, we get to go around shirtless but girls have to cover up?? What are people on! Equal rights all the way.

Well if people are offended then fuck them if a girl wants to look like a slut then let her and deal with it. Although it is distracting I've actualy had to tell a few girls that I'll listen to them but I can't look at them.

It depends on the situation. Cleavage in inappropriate situations such as...professional areas/tasks or other things like that. If you like...partying or whatever who cares. It just depends, so I understand why people don't want to see all that, because its not the time.
Also, umm bra straps, i think thtey should be hidden....but i can understand that it depends on the outfit

i think a little bit is good but if you show alot your basically asking for guys to look at you that way. i think showing a little is flirty and fun ...sucks when you have bigger boobs tbough..i have that problem and its really annoying with shirt!

some is alright but it is really distracting<for boys> and it is possible some people<girls>might feel that they are being pressured into looking slutty

Whatever suits your looks best

i dont think its wrong the only reason everyone tinks its "sluty" is because thats the way society is build on that subject it is just a part of the human body and technically speaking theyres nothing wrong with showing what you have

I wouldnt find it offensive, though i think it looks slutty, and a little gross. (If its too bad.) Even if i knew them, i think it would look bad. (Im a very weird guy) =[. But meh, its not like you should care what random people think.

pretty much everyone have already covered the "slutty" part
but most mom's don't want there children to be exposed to that
i don't see anything against it unless your boobs are about to fall out your
shirt they are showing so much then it's kinda strange...
alot of people think also that the only reason you do it is
to get attention from guys, pervy old men, and even some girls...
