If you had a child in their early teens, and you found out they were looking up porn, would you care?

I probably wouldn't care much actually, but I don't encourage teen pregnancy.

Depends on their age I guess. If they are under 15, I probably would care a bit, but 15 or older, I'd probably just ignore it.

I guess it depends on their age, like early or late teens.

If it was a 15 year old guy, I would ignore it, it's all part of their hormones.
If it was say...a 13 year old boy or girl, then I wouldn't want them to look at stuff like that.

NO because you would have done it in your teen years so why restrict them from watching sumit you did?

I wouldnt care but it depends on addiction to it i suppose.

I would care if they were under 15 still...I didn't look at porn before than.

I don't know if I would care so much but I would probably have some sort of talk with them that they shouldn't go try and act on what they're seeing.

probably not unless it gave the comp. viruses

hehe, depending on their age, I would probably at them more for that than anything.

if they're really young, I would try to protect them from it. but 15-16 would be fine, 14 is pushing it a little. 13 is a definite no imo.

Well, i think it is a parental instinct to care. I wouldn't be happy about it because there is some porn material on the internet that is not healthy for teens to be exposed to. It is normal for them to be curious and look up that type of material but to be honest i would probably have the computer set to where they couldn't see that. I guess its hypocritical but there are definitely things i have done that i wouldn't want my kids to do, that's kind of a big part of being a parent. Parents always want there kids not to make the same mistakes they do. I don't know i am kind of rambling :P

glad your not my dad. I probably wouldn't care, unless they start getting bad habits or something.

Not really. As long as they aren't off getting pregnant/impregnating people.

I would be open with my kids about porn. Most porn is very degrading to humans. I also understand the curiosity of it and i even porn but I don't have to use porn as my only means of getting horny.

If they were 13-younger, i would probably tell them not to and go to best buy and buy a program to block sexual websites, but once they were fourteen i would probably just tell them that its okay to look at porn and masturbate and stuff and then take the program off and let them do what they want.

I wouldnt really care as long as he/she didnt do it frequently. I would overall be fine with it though.

well the thing is you cant really stop a teen looking at it. i would think it would be weird and it would be awkward but i would not encourage it.

I think it is hilarious how many of you put restrictions on your future kids watching porn, yet i am sure every single person here has been looking at it since they were atleast 12 or younger. Why would you tell your kids not to do it, if you did it at their age?

Ermm I didn't look at porn at 12 or younger, I wouldn't be happy about them looking at if they're 13 or younger however, if they are looking at that age, they are probably just curious, I won't yell at them and make them think sex and sexuality is a bad and dirty topic. But I would tell them thats probably something they should wait before they start looking at. Either way though, I wouldn't stop them I would just warn them about some of the err not all that pleasant stuff thats out there.

It's a natural parental thing to protect your children. But if there slightly elder teenagers...then I wouldn't care too much, I'd pretend not to notice. As it's a common thing amongst teenagers and it's hard to stop.

But I guess I'll have to see what I think when I'm in that situation.

DarkWingedAngel

I would care to some extent.
If they were like 13, 14, and maybe 15 I would care and would try to get them not to watch it.
If they are over 15 then so be it.
I would still care and monitor it but i would care as much.

Yes a little depending on age. But if I had a credit card and they stole it for that garbage I would give them the Internet no more. Maybe no comp or phone because people can send that stuff to you. But I sometimes do it so I would not cAre that much if it got out of hand. Like in that movie cyber seduction his secret life. He started out curious then stole his moms credit card.

I would not give them them the Internet

OMB sorry. I would care if it got out of hand.

hhhmmm, i would care, and tell them what i think, but i wouldn't tell them off for it, because that would just make me a hypocrite, i would try to discourage it and try and make sure it doesn't eat up bandwidth

It depends on how old they were. I would probably yell and do whatever parents are supposed to do but I would totally understand and make sure the kid is a lot more secretive.
