What I hate is when people dump you but just say "I think you mean more to meas a friend" but never give an actual reason. I know sometimes it might be true n sometimes they dont wanna upset you. But this girl dumped me said the same thing and now she ignores me. Does this mean i've done something wrong or shes just not talking because she only just dumped me and she thinks it will be awkward?

It means she doesn't have romantic feelings for you. It's not about you, it's about her, and her feelings. They're just not there. A lack of 'chemistry'.
There are 2 no-no's in dating (LISTEN UP HERE EVERYONE!):
1) Chicas often say "But we can still be friends", or "I like you as a friend", but what they really mean is "I'm not at all interested".
2) Guys say "....I'll call you" when they know darn well they won't, and are too chicken to say so.
Honesty is always the best policy, even if it's a bit more awkward.

girls use that excuse when they cannot come up with anything better dont worry, girls can be quite indecisive about what they actually want. A lot of girls have said that too my face :) Its just one of those things you have to shrug off and move on.

The "WE can still be friends" really is just a way to say i dont like u at all.
Is just a easier way of saying i dont like u anymore.
Lots of time there will be awkwardness between exes because of thinking that u 2 used to do this and that and when u try to talk it may be awkward because alot of couples discover they didnt have that much in common and not much to talk about.

Howcome this thread is a bunch of guys trying to tell another guy what's going on in this girl's head?!!?!?!?!!? how twisted is this?!?!?! If you have any question's about the inner workings of girls minds, ask an actual girl. I am available for you're brain picking pleasure, so fire away.

Well, after you dump someone, and perhaps break their heart, it's not like you want to be best friends. Friends is just a relative term. Perhaps her version of "friend" leans more towards aquantance. friend meaning just not mortal enemies. After some people break up they will never talk again and go to great lengths never to encounter eachother again. Some people throw darts and pictures of exes etc. So by friends, she just means to not hate eachother.
so do you want to tackle the mystery of why girls always go to the bathroom in packs next? :)

ususally it is a excuse and its not the real reason or they are just trying to be nice
