Starting puberty

I'm 13 1/2 years old and started puberty just after I turned 13.

According to many of the posts on this website I am a late bloomer, with many people saying they started puberty at 8, 9 or 10....

The people who make these comments are all over 13, (due to the rules) but state their penis is still growing or they havn't got armpit hair. (general signs that puberty is over)

However according to numerous sources puberty takes roughly 3 years.... So basically this post is a reasurance to people starting puberty to similar times as myself, that posts stating the ages in which people started puberty are 'usually' uneducated guesses and they are more likely to have started at 11, 12 or 13.

well i would first like to welcome you on VT...you are nota late bloomer....13 is still young and the normal age for starting puberty.....it all depends on the person....since u started already u r fine....you cannot put a time on how long puberty lasts...you might go through puberty quick and that would last maybe a yr or two....or you might go through it gradually...and it might end for you like 19 yrs old.....some people start at 19 and that my friend is what you call a LATE bloomer. you are fine...and again welcome to VT.

i'm rerally into puberty and only twelve... my parents said i could do this. The only thing that hasn't happened is arm pit hair. the rest is done pfft if you dont have armpit hair yet, your nowhere near being even close to finished puberty

for whomever posted this...its a bit early to start puberty at 8 9 or soemtimes 10...its usually 10,11,or 12....depending on if u start at normal time...otherwise ur just a late bloomer

I started at about 12 1/2 or 13. I'm currently 14 and 3/4 (my 15th b'day is in April this year) and I have quite a bit of pubic hair, little arm pit hair, some forearm and leg hair, no chest or facial hair. My penis is... well... I haven't exactly checked. :) Ok, just checked; 3.5 inches limp and (the ruler's a little short) just over 5.5 inches hard. Umm... I'm worried I sorta stopped prematurely...
I have a little fuzz on my upper lip, but it hasn't expanded at all (still on either side of my mouth, and brownish... I'm blonde), my minimal armpit hair has stayed in exactly the same place, and I've been shooting out clear for about 2 years.
