I've never done any martial arts but Ive been looking into Kung Fu lately, if for nothing else than the workout (I don't think I'll be going back to dance). I have a sort of fascination with Northern Shaolin style in particular, it just looks so graceful and powerful to me. I can't seem find a studio that teaches it near me though. I may just stick with my pilates DVD for fitness these days. xP

If you're in for the fitness, try to find a Wushu school. It's not really for combat, more like gymnastics using forms, but one of the most taught styles in Wushu schools is Shaolin Longfist which is what I think you might be looking for.
Try to Google.
