If you cough and your testicals bounce up that means you dont have cancer right?. Cuz i have a small ball hanging from my left testical attatched by stringy stuff and its not like a knot its like a small ball. my friend has three testicals could that be what i have?.

Are you sure your friend actually has three testicals? Or is that simply something he says?

Either way, your best bet is to see a doctor, it could be nothing, but better safe than sorry.

Yeah his mom even told my mom. She frased it as a extra skeet sack?.
But i go to my doctor sometime this week for a check up and im gonna bring it up to him.

But i coughed and my testicals bounced up and it doesnt hurt or anything. So hopefully its not cancer right?...

Does it hurt when you touch it? If it does, then it's definitely something you want to get checked out.

Actually, either way you definitely want to get it checked out.

Ok, first of all the whole testicle bouncing p if you have cancer thing, I dn't think that's true. Where did you hear that from? Because cancer should not do that to you, un;ess the cancer is in your testicles I guess, but not for all types of cancer. And I really suggest you get that checked out. but it might be nothing, to me it sounds like something this kid I knew had. He had extra skin sticking out around his ear (the hole to the ear). It hung out and it looked like a very tiny ball (the size of several grains of sand) attatched to a short strand of skin attatched to his ear.

OK, there's a better chance of you getting abducted by aliens then getting testicular cancer right now, so relax. Cancer is detected by a large, unmistakable growth on the side of the testicles, you can't really miss it. If you feel your testicles individually, by rubbing them slowly between your index finger and thumb, you'll now feel a smooth, hard surface, with a string or cord at the top, and a small bump where the tube inserts into the testicle. Most often, if there's a mass there it's called a hydrocele ('water growth'), which, although requires treatment, sounds nastier than it is. Cancer there typically occurs later in life, rarely in early adolescence.

If you feel soemthing else in there, it could be something else, like veins, sometimes extra veins ('variocele'), which might need to be removed, but again, not life threatening.

Your friend cannot have 3 testicles. His mother is either misinformed, or is describing perhaps another condition usuing a shorthand that makes it sound nicer.

The coughing and bouncing thing only tells the doc if you've got a hernia, it's the way they check for that.

Tell the doc what's going on, let him take a look, and reassure you.

that was a really good post but there is one part i disagree with actually. testicular cancer is not uncommon during puberty and right after. "Testicular cancer is one of the most common cancers in young men between the ages of 15 and 35" quoted from http://www.cancercenter.com/testicul...20090125073609
This is not to say it is cancer, or that its common but it doesn't typically only occur in older men. And just so you know if it was, which it probably isn't. Testicular cancer is among the more treatable types of cancer. I bet its no bug deal though :)

Your better off just going to a doctor to get it checked out than asking people on here

its probably some sort of non-cancerous growth, let the doctor figure out what it is though, always better to be safe then sorry!

Yes, well said! The chances of it being something nasty are statistically veeeery slim, don't worry about it.

Let us know what the doc says.
