What does it feel like to you?

When you cut yourself, how do you feel? I'm just curious really. When I cut, I don't really...Feel anything, per se, I just kinda, do it. For me, all the feelings come afterwards. Like, when I cut myself, I'm just kinda numb. I can't even really feel myself doing it anymore I can't really explain it, but afterwards, I feel even worse. Does anyone else feel like that?

I just feel the pain inside go away instead of crying tears i cry blood then i feel better afterword until the guilt sets in

i feel like all my pain and worries are washed away, i know it sounds weird but it's the truth... my mind is at ease? sorry i don't make any sense...

FastTalkingGirl, I feel exactly the same. Remember I said that I don't even feel myself doing it? That's what it feels like. Only afterwards does it start hurting.

i dont feel anything when im doing it.
untill after then i relize what i did.

i fealt similar.
usually when i did it i was so upset i fealt nothing. then i did it and the pain and emotion i was currently feeling, whether it be anger or sadness, went away and i fealt normal again.
