Its about a deep emotional love of the same sex.

Hmmm kind of like this: If you saw a hot girl walk down the street, and some guy whistled, that doesn't mean he wants to go out with her, just that he thinks shes pretty.
But if that same guy ran into the lady, and started talking to her, and liked her, he might ask her out, because he likes her personality.

Quick: Think of yourself as an 80 year old. Close your eyes, picture yourself at the end of your life. What do you see? Do you see your life partner as a man or a woman, is there an old man or an old woman in the scene with you?

Sexuality is about the inside, the stuff that's harder to describe, but that's also far more powerful and far more important than the stuff on the outside, the stuff that makes your penis hard.
