Boyfriend issues...

I love him....but does he love me?? I guess I'm very confused. He told me he loved me last week for the first time. So the past couple times we ended phone conversations I said I love you. He said I love you too....but it didn't sound sincere...he like half whispers it, but it sounds like he's irritated.

I'm getting really frustrated. Like, I can't really talk to him about it cause my parents are always listening in on my calls. Plus, I have no clue when I will see him next.

His parents aren't letting him see me except for once every 2 weeks......and its been 2 weeks. But his parents won't tell him when he can see me again. I'm getting frustrated cause I'm leaving next week for 2 weeks. And I don't want to be away from him for longer than that. I would really like to see him. I miss him, and even though we talk on the phone alot it still feels like we're distant.

I don't know what to do...

Two issues: First, although you;re looking for the reassurance that an "I love you, too" provides, the real reassurance in a relationship are actions, not words. Judge his feelings by the way he treats you, not just the way he says (or doesn't say) 'I love you'.

Second, you and he might want to talk more about the consistency of your time together. He might need to talk with his folks about this, there's another issue there that you might not now about, why they limit your visits. All you can do is let him know what you're feeling and what you want, and see if he can work on it from his end.
