why Join page

I noticied there are usally alot of gueste online so i thought how you could get them to hoin then i figured why not have a why join page!! basically i page esplainlt the plus sides to joining!

sorry if this already esixt although i did do i search and found nothing!:D

when i forst joined. i found www.virtualteen.org to be kinda of plain. if it wasnt my forum curiosity i probably would have never joined. i think the OP is right, at the very least something that says JOIN NOW

I think that it's a good idea. Maybe not an entire page, but just editing the little guest message (it displays for visitors on the index) to include a few key benefits might improve registration. There would be more of an impact if there was a notice on every page, but GovTeen has already been doing that for awhile.

Getting new members isn't really for your needs. It expands the diversity of the community and allows other teens to find the help or advice that they want.

In all seriousness, VT carries with it a sense of a "caring community," the people here are helpful, kind, caring, etc... There's a low tolerance for spam and misbehavior and if you join you can be sure the current members will be friendly toward you, so long as you don't present yourself as someone not to be liked. 0.o

also the other reason i thought this would be good is because when i first found the site i thought it wass a waste of time or something "naughty" or along those lines so i took me a few visite till i decided to actually make an account !

really now? and like you own the site? what's so bad about having more members? Sooner or later members will leave, and then what? Also, aren't you being a little closed minded to fresh potential in new members?

I guess it's a good idea, but really I think it'd be weird to choose a good spot to put an entire page that people will actually read. A shorter, better message may be better.

well not a WHOLE page but maybe like a banner that "benifits of joining VT...click here!" (thats sounds stupid you could think of somethign way better tyo put on the banner) that leads to a why join thread when you cliclk it!
