Just walk in, buy it...wherever.

I get mine at Rayley's. It's not the clerks job to judge you and there isn't any age limit or requirement on it...also, some lubes have multiple purposes.

There are multiple things you can use as lubricant in the house as well. Vegetable oil works, for one, and any lotion that is supposed to be used for skin should work as well. If you don't feel comfortable buying it at the store, then see if there's anything in the home you can use. At www.jackinworld.com there's also a list of things you can use as lubricant around the house.

If you have eczema (like I do) then you'll find that most skin creams you use can be a wonderfull lube. The only downside is that because they're skin creams, they'll absorb into the skin quite quickly, which means you might have to re-apply several times. On the upside, however, you'll probably have a prescription for the cream in question (if you're in the UK anyway-does the USA have prescriptions? lol:D) which means you'll have an practically unlimited, free supply!
Otherwise, I would suggest either going into the store to buy it yourself, or getting a friend to do it. There is no legal age limit on lubes, so the store clerk can't do anything apart from maybe look at you funny. If it's a male clerk, you'll probably have more success, as they'll have went through the same stage, and will understand why you're buying it! Or, like Mzor said, you can use a HELL of a lot of household items, ranging from cooking oil to banna and kiwi skins! Try experimenting with them, although I would avoid using soap, as it drys out the skin, and if it gets onto the slit, it can burn. Like hell itself.
