I just got done watching this movie premier on Lifetime, and all I can say is wow.

Click here (http://www.mylifetime.com/on-tv/movies/prayers-bobby) to learn what the whole story is about.

In wraps, its about a mom who literally pushed her son to suicide because he was gay. She has since become a PFLAG member, and a very active person in the gay community for gay rights.

If you saw it, what did you think?

"Before you echo amen in your home or place of worship, think and remember, a child is listening."
~Mary Griffith

I watched the trailers for it and I wished I could have seen the movie it looks really good.

It honestly is. One of best movies I've seen.

Maybe its because I'm gay and when I tell my parents, I don't want them to act like Bobbys parents.

Yeah I agree that would really suck for you.

It would, it would. Recently, I've been thinking about coming out... So its more a reality now that I might have to face it soon...

Hey I would wait to come out if I was you. There is no real need to rush coming out as long as you are comfortable with what you are and who you are.

I know. And I've waited a long time to make sure that its what I want and things like that.

But thats another topic, another time. :)

I watched that movie, it was really good, but sad.

It was very sad, but it had a great lesson in it, parents need to watch it. They need to know that what they do to their child might cost both of them in the long run.

Wow I just found the ending still on in my time zone and it is really sad. It made me cry
.

I cried to. I normally don't cry during movies, but I did for this one. It really has a great lesson to be learned.

It is cool to see how his mom starts to change in the movie. It is so sad that she could not do it while Bobby was alive.
