Depends on what you mean.
Just using them regularly as pens is fine, and won't hurt you (much),
But sniffing them kills way more brain cells. Of course its bad, but it doesn't have any physically addicting properties (to my knowledge) nor is it that bad.
But there isn't any point; it makes you look dumb, and it's unhealthy.

Gwyn, I don't know about Sharpies (the felt tipped pens), but in general, inhalants are really dreadful and toxic. The stuff in them works by 1) being absorbed in the blood faster than the o2 in the air you breathe, suffocating your brain a little (that's the woozy, 'high' feeling, it's actually your brain being deprived of necessary oxygen), and 2) The chemicals in inhalants have been shown to cause extensive liver damage, as well as brain damage from long term use. Serious stuff!

You have enough going on, you don't need brain or liver damage, right?

Yea. They'll mess you up. Way worse that alcohol. Plus, they're immediatly deadly if you use them to their full potential.

Don't even try. Plus they'll make you sick.. Bad experiences..
