hey peeps,

right i have a problem with connection to Xbox Live, it's so annyoing.
So I finally decided to get live, so i bought an ethernet cable and i put 1 end into the Xbox but i have nowhere to put it into my router, i have two phone connections and a USB connection going to my PC.

So my problem is I have nowhere to plug it into, can i get an adapter of some sort?

Im sorry to say this, but as i'm aware, there are no adapters, mainly because it would be impossible for there to be one. Your only option is to either get a wireless adapter for your Xbox (although your router HAS to be wireless) or get a new router.

agreed you would have to buy either a wirelessa dapter and try to connect to your router OR buy a new one.

you could of course see what is taking up the 2 ports and see if you could remove one?

No, the ports arent being used just they are not the right size to fit the cable.

You need to buy a router or an ethernet switch.

If your computer is within reach of the cable, you could plug the Live cable into your computer and set up a connection share. That's how I do it; it can be trouble some, and your computer has to be on, but it works.
