No idea where to post this, so i shall post it here and if is moved, sorry 'bout putting it in the wrong spot!

Ok I'm sure someone on here has heard the great comedy of Eddie Izzard, yes? If you haven't ever watched him you should . Ok. In his most recent show Stripped he said “I am a transvestite; I’m just off-duty at the moment, I never was a transvestite; it was a tax thing.”

I didn't manage to see the start of Stripped so i have no idea if the last part was just a bit of his rambling, if it isn't it's very confusing @[email protected]

Anyway. I just wanted to know if anyone here knows if he'll be returning to his old heels and makeup in the next few years or if h's staying in comedy at all for that matter since I know he's shooting a few films here soon.

Oh and just for fun, what was your favorite show he did?
Mine was Sexie ;)

Alright thanks guys.

Ah. I've only seen one of the edited for tv stand-ups of his... But I frickin' loved it!

It was hilarious. I wish I could've seen some more.

[Speaking as God] "Don't worry Jesus... No one will notice. Well, not until 2000 years from now, when the British tranvestite points it out in New York!"

Classic.

Have any of you seen him pretending to be Darth Vader in the Death Star canteen?
Now, that was funny!

That was good too!!! That is an amazing joke, one of the best I've ever heard on stand up...no other can beat him.

I love the God one ;) I didn't really get the canteen one, i'll have to re-watch it to understand it lol (was tuned out). One of my other favorites is:

"What is this?"
"It's the Death Star"
"Whats It do?"
"IT DOES DEATH!"

or

"If your a girl and you fall down in heels it's embarrassing. But if your a bloke and you fall down in heels you have to kill yourself!"

Or in Sexie when he talks about his boobs lol. I thought that was awesome. I really hope he returns to his heels and makeup soon :*(

Now he's in Valkyre with Tom Cruise for some reason...as a german general as well.
He looks different...check it out.

AND he's in Oceans Thirteen..and twelve but that film was awful, so don't watch that one. :-)

Looks like him to me :) imagine minus the glasses and plus heels and a lot of makeup lol. I never knoticed him though when i saw this movie. It was funny actually. Apparently he's been in a lot of stuff but i think he's the kind of guy that is able to look many different ways so you don't even know it's him or something along those lines.

He's wanted to be an actor since he was 7 so i think thats why the increase in movies he's in and less comedy, cause he never wanted to be a comedian. But theres something about him wanting to go into poilitics now or soemthing? He's a very confussing person to understand I find :) Part of his charm I guess. We should be seeing him in
* Every Day (2009) as Garrett
* The Other Side (2009) as Dean Bellamy
* Rage (2009) as Tiny Diamonds
* The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) as Reepicheep (voice)

Soon so keep your eyes peeled for him!

My favorite performance from Eddie Izzard would have to be from the Dressed to Kill tour. My Aunt has the DVD and it's just great. Especially the intro!

My favorite joke of his would be Monkeys with guns.

I have discovered som ething that most of us probably missed! It's called 'Lust for Glorious" and it's like them getting ready and filming before Glourious. It's amazing! Heres the link ;)

"All the bloody sheep had lipstick on."
Eddie: "These guys used to live here when I was a kid"
