The first 2 or 3 days are the hardest, believe it or not. I tried to go 5 days without it a while back, just to prove that I could. The first 2 days were hell but then by day 5 it wasn't so bad.
Try drawing on the place you usually cut, or having a temporary tattoo there. For whatever reason, it helps.
But if you don't make it, just try again, but maybe with a shorter term goal.
But remember, you can beat this :)

Taking things one day at a time is a good start. Don't get preoccupied with next week or next month. Remember, slow and steady wins the race.

Start doing one good thing for yourself each day. Have a relaxing bath if you enjoy them, read a good book, put make up on and do your hair nicely. It can feel weird and awkward to begin with, but stick with it.
Walks in the woods/park can be good ways to distract yourself and quieten your mind.
Some people find writing stories, poems or in a journal has a certain therapeutic quality to it.

Be kind to yourself

Like everyone else said, just distract yourself, and take it day by day.

It isn't a failure.
You just slipped up. Everyone slips up once in a while along the road to recovery.

Don't give up. Fighting this and beating it is worth the effort.
If only so you can wear the clothes you want an when you want without everyone working it out and giving you weird looks.

you know what I would do? Wrapp your arms an legs in gauze. Or when you feel like cutting instead of doing that punch a pillow, or a door. Or scream into a pillow, because the higher you go the harder you'll fall, rite? So get yourself a pair of wings.

i have no idea what its like, but mabey try winding down instead of going cold turky. if you feel like cutting so much that you simply have to, try cutting not as deep as you would like to. you may stiff feel like cutting, but this might make it bareable enough to forget about for the timebeing.

although, i really have no idea what its like, so this advise may only make it worse... im no expert on the subject.
